Hi, I’m Claire.
As a student, I like to think of myself as the master of a balancing act. I love cooking and eating healthy foods, but sometimes I only have enough time to grab something quick. And sometimes that something is a cheeseburger. As for exercise, I love the way I look and feel after a good work out, but if all of my friends are in my apartment watching The Bachelor, I might be more inclined to stay home and do that as opposed to wiping the stinging sweat out of my eyes at boot camp.
That’s why I’m here. I want to impart my ideas about how to balance food and fitness in a realistic and attainable way in order to achieve health. I don’t like diets, so don’t come here expecting to find one. But, if you’re here looking for a practical way to look at health and fitness from the college student’s perspective, then I might have just the thing for you.

I just wanted to say that I love your blog so much. I too am a college student struggling with making healthy choices at school. I mean, it’s all new, different, overwhelming, you’re busy busy busy and on top of that all of the dining halls on campus are serving stuff that’s not great for you! And I’m not a salad eater…
Before I left for school, I was really getting healthy and eating well and exercising like a FIEND! I thought I’d be able to keep it up but that didn’t happen. This coming year, my goals are to get back into shape and start shaping a healthy lifestyle for mysef again. I just discovered this blog and not only am I inspired by it (and will follow it religiously) but it has also inspired me to create my own just so I can have something to keep up with my journey on.
